full-time Human Resources Director
who will be responsible for managing all aspects of the agency’s HR day-to-day operations for a staff just under 50. As an active member of our leadership team, you will bring both the management and staff perspective. This position reports to the Executive Director.Responsibilities include:Talent Acquisition
– Manage recruitment, prescreening, and onboarding.Compensation, Payroll and Benefits
– Maintain equitable compensation structure and necessary documentation. Process timekeeping and payroll bi-weekly. Maintain HRIS (Paycor). Administer and recommend employee benefits including suggesting enhancements.Compliance with Federal and Vermont labor laws
– Completes all required reports, administers leaves of absence, worker’s comp, safety, EEO reporting. Tracks various HR metrics and compiles information for Board reports. Maintains employee, safety, and procedure/policy handbooks.Learning and Development
- Assures completion of mandatory training. Records and maintains records to assure certifications are kept current. Trains employees as needed in HR and agency related topics. Involvement in the lifecycle of our team members from the time they are hired, as they develop their careers and even help with the retirement process.Performance Management System
– Confirms that performance assessments and coaching sessions are timely. Follows progress of new employees. Provides suggestions for training and development.Employee Relations
– Assists team members and managers to resolve various issues. Performs investigations as needed.
