Addison Group is seeking an HR Generalist for our client, a leader in healthcare services dedicated to providing inclusive, high-quality support to a diverse community. The role emphasizes employee engagement, people operations, and professional development, serving multiple locations across the Chicagoland area.

Job Description:

This position is a hybrid role, with in-office days on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and remote work on Mondays and Fridays. It requires travel to a suburban location approximately 2-3 times per month, with mileage reimbursed. A car is required. Key Responsibilities:

Partner with regional operations and clinical teams to manage employee relations, performance management, and engagement strategies.

Provide coaching and advice to managers and staff on HR policies, benefits, and performance issues.

Conduct investigations, document findings, and recommend actions on policy violations.

Support payroll, leave of absence management, workers' compensation, leadership development, and training initiatives.

Facilitate talent management processes, including performance evaluations, talent reviews, and succession planning.

Visit various company locations regularly to maintain engagement and visibility.

Lead new hire orientations, fostering a positive first impression of the company culture and values.

Promote a culture of well-being, work-life balance, and continuous professional growth.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.

2-3 years of experience in employee relations, conflict resolution, investigations, and performance management.

Experience with Paylocity HRIS and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.

PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.

Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across all levels of the organization.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Details:

Role available immediately, with potential for direct hire or temp-to-hire conversion.

Standard work hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (Monday - Friday).
