Job Title: HR Generalist

Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Seattle, WA. As an HR Generalist, you will support a wide range of human resource functions, including employee relations, performance management, policy implementation, and compliance. You will work closely with all levels of the organization, ensuring the HR department's initiatives are aligned with business objectives and contribute to a positive and productive workplace.
Key Responsibilities:Act as the first point of contact for employees and management on all HR-related inquiries, policies, and procedures.
Administer various human resource programs, including benefits, compensation, leave management, and employee engagement initiatives.
Support recruitment efforts by assisting with the full lifecycle of recruitment, from job posting to onboarding, ensuring a smooth candidate experience.
Lead new employee orientation, ensuring successful integration into the company culture.
Manage employee relations by handling employee concerns, conducting investigations when necessary, and ensuring resolution in compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable federal and state HR regulations, maintaining accurate records, and reporting on any legal requirements.
Assist in performance management processes, including performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and employee development plans.
Facilitate training and development initiatives to build employees' skills and support career growth.
Collaborate with department managers to address organizational development needs and support strategic HR initiatives.
Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, ensuring consistency in decisions and actions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
3-5 years of experience in an HR Generalist or related HR role.
In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR systems such as Workday, ADP Workforce Now, or similar platforms.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust and rapport with employees and management.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with sound judgment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
Pay Details:
$31.00 to $41.00 per hour
