AccuWeather For Business serves more than half of the Fortune 500 companies and thousands of other businesses and government agencies globally.Position Summary:Reporting directly to the VP of Finance, the Human Resource Director will collaborate with company senior leadership to plan, develop, and review company strategies and the policies and procedures of the Human Resource department, ensuring legal compliance and supporting the organization's mission strategy.Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Collaborates with leadership to understand and integrate the organization's strategic goals related to staffing, recruiting, and retention.Plans, develops, coordinates, implements, and reviews HR policies, processes, and training initiatives.Gathers key metrics and prepares insightful reports to develop metric-driven strategies.Conducts research and analysis of organizational trends, providing data-driven insights.Advances the company's diversity, equity, and inclusion goals.Administers or oversees HR programs including compensation, benefits, leave, and performance management.Leads monitoring and compliance efforts with employment laws and regulations.Reviews and modifies HR policies to maintain compliance and align with strategic goals.Maintains knowledge of HR trends and best practices.Leads employee engagement and retention initiatives.Implements succession planning and leadership development initiatives.Serves as the voice of AccuWeather's human capital in meetings.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.At least seven years of human resource management experience.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Demonstrated ability to lead an HR operational team.Previous experience as a trusted advisor to company senior executives.Previous experience with HR metrics and reporting.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent time management skills.Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization.Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.HR certification (PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) highly preferred.Benefits:Competitive salary, comprehensive healthcare and dental benefits, 401(k) retirement plan with company match, and a collaborative work environment.Commitment to Diversity:AccuWeather is committed to diversity and encourages all qualified candidates to apply.
