We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Plant HR Manager to join our team. This role is crucial in supporting plant operations by driving human resources initiatives and managing employee relations. The Plant HR Manager will partner closely with leadership to foster a positive work environment, ensure compliance with labor regulations, and develop strategies that support talent acquisition, employee development, and retention within the plant.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with plant leadership to design and implement HR strategies that align with business goals and operational needs.Act as the primary point of contact for employees, addressing concerns, grievances, and conflicts in a timely and professional manner. Promote a positive and inclusive work culture.Lead the recruitment process for all plant positions, ensuring alignment with workforce planning needs. Partner with hiring managers to attract and retain top talent.Develop and implement training programs that support employee skill development, compliance, and safety initiatives. Provide coaching and mentoring to supervisors and managers on HR best practices.Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations. Manage workplace safety, labor relations, and adherence to company policies and procedures.Oversee performance evaluation processes, supporting plant leadership in employee reviews, goal-setting, and career development discussions.Collaborate with corporate HR and finance to manage compensation programs, benefits administration, and reward systems in the plant.Lead HR-related change initiatives such as organizational restructuring, workforce adjustments, and employee engagement activities.Analyze HR metrics (e.g., turnover, absenteeism, etc.) to identify trends and develop action plans to improve overall employee performance and retention.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree or HR certification preferred (PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP).5+ years of HR management experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.Strong knowledge of employment laws, labor regulations, and compliance requirements.Proven ability to manage employee relations and conflict resolution in a fast-paced environment.Experience with recruitment, training, and talent development strategies.Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with plant leadership and employees at all levels.Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Key Competencies:Problem-solving and conflict resolutionDecision-making and critical thinkingStrong organizational skills and attention to detailLeadership and team managementEmployee engagement and developmentAdaptability and flexibility in managing HR functions
