$140K-$190K DOE annually

Senior Integration Specialist - Mobile Device Management (MDM)
who will support the 2026 Census Test Technical Integration Program.
The Mission:
• The Decennial Census plays a critical role in our nation's governance, informing congressional representation and guiding the allocation of $1.5 trillion in federal funding each year. In preparation for 2030, T-Rex is seeking highly skilled and motivated Integration Specialists to join the 2026 Census Test IT (26CT) Integration program.• The Decennial requires innovative, scalable IT solutions to support the count of every person living in the United States and its territories. Decennial systems must scale to process millions of daily responses, support the largest non-military workforce mobilization in the world (350k+ workers), and maintain the highest standards of data security and individual privacy.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
As a
Senior Integration Specialist - MDM
on this program, you'll play a key role in laying the groundwork for the design and integration of the technology infrastructure that will underpin this high-profile mission. Integration Specialists are responsible for ensuring that all components of the 26CT systems work together seamlessly, efficiently, and securely. You'll develop and mature advanced systems that:
Facilitate comprehensive data collection using cloud computing, mobile technology, and data analytics
Support nationwide field operations, enabling coverage of hard-to-reach populations
Improve government efficiency with the use of modern technologies that reduce complexity and drive right-size scaling to meet operational demands
Design and integrate mobile device solutions, field IT infrastructure, and identity management systems to support nationwide data collection
Develop and implement an integrated operations center and help desk system to manage and monitor census operations in real-time
Conduct comprehensive gap analysis and risk assessments to ensure all systems meet operational requirements
Plan and execute rigorous testing to validate solution interoperability, scalability, and performance under realistic operational conditions
Collaborate closely with Census Bureau teams and stakeholders to align technical solutions with operational needs
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and solution architecture design recommendations and provide actionable insights to inform planning for the 2030 Census
Education, Experience & Certification Requirements:
BA/BS with five (5)+ years experience leading projects focused on mobile device management
US Citizenship with ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance, which involves a background investigation to determine suitability for access to sensitive data
Ability to use creative problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels
Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile and Scrum
Experience working in a government or public sector environment is a plus
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field desired
Relevant professional certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, Cisco, PMP) are a plus
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively
Passion for public service and a commitment to the mission of the Census Bureau
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
As a Senior Integration Specialist focused on Mobile Device Management (MDM), you will be responsible for ensuring that the 26CT is fully mobile enabled and an MDM solution that is scaled to support expected test workloads and, importantly, fully analyzed for scalability to support 2030 peak operations. You’ll make recommendations to optimize for future scale.
Hands-on experience with MDM platforms such as VMware Workspace ONE, Microsoft Intune, and MobileIron
Experience developing solutions to support large-scale mobile workforces (10k+ preferred)
Expertise in developing device provisioning, application deployment, and security compliance policies
Proficient in integrating MDM with enterprise identity management systems like Okta, Azure AD, and Microfocus (OpenText)
Knowledge of Android Enterprise and iOS DEP programs for large-scale device enrollment and management
Working Conditions/Working Environment/Physical Demands:
Basic office work environment at government facility location
Hours of operation are M-F core business hours.
Occasionally, project requirements may require temporary adjustment of work hours/days
Duties are subject to change based on the needs of the customer
