Job Overview
This company is seeking a Senior AV Programmer/Tech Lead who will be pivotal in both hands-on programming and leadership. This individual will work with Control4 systems and oversee programming while guiding a team of technicians. This is a client-facing role requiring expertise in AV systems, strong communication skills, and a solutions-oriented mindset.
Responsibilities
Lead AV programming tasks, with a focus on Control4 systems.
Manage and guide a team of AV technicians, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
Oversee system integration, including home automation and AV systems, ensuring functionality meets the highest standards.
Collaborate with clients, sales teams, and other departments to deliver tailored solutions.
Mentor and develop junior and mid-level team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
Qualifications
5+ years of AV programming experience, with a strong background in Control4 (experience in Josh AI is a plus).
Proven leadership experience managing AV teams.
Strong knowledge of AV systems integration, including home automation, audio-visual equipment, and control systems.
Client-facing skills: ability to clearly communicate technical solutions to both clients and internal teams.
Willingness to help with both programming and hands-on tasks when needed.
A growth mindset: passion for learning and advancing within the company, with interest in pursuing additional certifications and career development.
Physical Demands
Physical requirements include standing, sitting, walking, bending, climbing, reaching, and lifting up to 80 lbs.
