Assembles, installs, tests, and maintains electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus and fixturesUse hand tools and testing instruments to diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components and isolate defects in wiring, switches, motors and other electrical equipmentReplace faulty switches, sockets and other elements of electrical systemsDismantle electrical machinery and replace defective electrical or mechanical parts such as gears, brushes and armaturesMount motors, transformers and lighting fixtures into position and complete circuits according to diagram specificationsPerform all work in accordance with established safety proceduresInspect completed work for conformance with requirements of local building and safety codesEstimate time and material costs on electrical projectsRequisition new electrical supplies and equipmentRead and interpret blue-prints or electrical schematics and has knowledge of the National Electric CodeComplete all necessary documents fully and accuratelyAdhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and proceduresPerform other duties as assignedHandle basic issues and problems and refer more complex issues to higher-level staff
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $20.00 - $38.00
