JOB SUMMARY:
TH Plastics, Inc., is a custom injection molder serving the appliance and automotive industries, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual for the following position in our Mendon, Michigan corporate office.

This position plans and directs the activities of the accounting and payroll departments.

B.S. in Accounting or Business Administration.5-10 years as a controller in a manufacturing environment, managing a staff, with an emphasis on cost accounting, reporting and variance analysis, as well as finance.High level of proficiency in fully integrated ERP/MRP software systems and Excel/Google spreadsheets.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsRegular on-site attendancePRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee the activities of the corporate accounting department for the accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports including, but not limited to, internal and external monthly financial statements and annual audits.Oversee the activities of the accounts payable department, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable invoices, disbursements, core employee expense reports, cash control, supplier aging reports, and various reconciliations.Oversee the activities of the accounts receivable department to ensure accurate and timely management of all accounts receivable components including billings, cash receipts application, aging reports, and various reconciliations.Oversee all activities of the payroll department, including weekly payroll processing, quarter and year end payroll processing, understanding of all payroll deductions, garnishments and employee benefits, and payroll tax compliance for all taxing authorities.Oversee cost accounting processes, including development of standard labor and burden costs.Assure corporate income tax compliance to ensure the accurate and timely completion of corporate income tax returns taking full advantage of all favorable tax codes.Oversee all annual accountant's review/audits, insurance, benefit plan, and tax audits.Establish and maintain systems and controls that verify the integrity of all systems, processed data, and enhance the company's value.Respond to CFO as assigned with accurate and timely work to facilitate financial needs.Participate in a wide variety of special projects and compile a variety of special reports.Communicate with co-workers, management, customers, vendors and others in a courteous and professional manner.Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.
