About The Role
The Manager of Product Development & Production, Ann Taylor, drives the process from seasonal development of product to manufacturing process in alignment with the divisional sourcing strategies. Ensures the product integrity standards are met as per the Product Lifecycle Calendar. Monitors and manages to ensure IMU performance, quality, on time delivery, business practices are achieved. Champions the company's values & practices by maintaining effective collaborative relationships

Monitors and/or manages creating PLC deadlines, AUC, IMU, quality, on-time delivery, and business processesWorks with associates to ensure all functional tasks are executed correctly and are meeting deadlinesConsidered a leader within the CFT and offers recommendations and POVTracks and adheres to departmental budget and development agreements and communicates updates to the CFTResponsible owner of target setting, cost engineering, negotiating costs, and confirming costsEffectively articulates business vision and key initiatives and explains rationale to teamEnsures department is meeting LT initiatives by managing T&A'sManages own workload and delegates tasks to associates to consistently deliver accurate and timely resultsAnalyzes complex information, has oversight of key processes, and makes recommendations to drive business initiatives and communicates with direct managerFocus is generally on current/future quarter/season with awareness of annual plans and objectivesBuilds collaborative relationships and efficiencies within the CFT and is accountable for the information being discussed, relationships and taking pride in the companyKeeps the internal and external customer top of mind in all decisionsIs proactive in identifying and understanding the customer's perspective and needsAchieves seasonal IMU aligned to the corporate financial objectivesInteracts with cross-functional team in building seasonal assortments to align with corporate strategiesManages and communicates seasonal time and actions calendars - including off season calendarPartner with Fabric Manager to research and achieve affordable textilesCollaborates with logistics on all pre-classifications and binding rulingsPeople ManagementResponsible for the selection, development and retention of team membersMentors, coaches and counsels' direct reports on performance expectationsProvides a positive, challenging work environment
You'll bring to the role
Bachelor's degree, in a related field of study, or equivalent functional experienceMinimum 5 - 7 years related experience in Product Development sourcing and Production, preferably with experience in the pants departmentMinimum management experience of one direct reportStrong knowledge of fabric/yarn and basic garment constructionStrong leadership and managerial skillsFlexible/adaptable in a fast-paced environmentStrong team orientation and ability to maintain collaborative working relationshipsStrong communication, presentation, negotiation and decision-making skillsInternational travel experienceBenefits At KnitWell Group

The target salary range for this role is: $105,000 - $115,000
