Job Title: Product Owner 2- Agile Employee Status: Regular Schedule: Full-time Location: Hybrid - defined as three days in office located in Westfield Center, OH. Responsibilities : Leads agile software delivery processes to build and enhance strategic capabilities in support of strategic business roadmaps. This includes defining a product scope and vision for each new capability, overseeing story card creation and refinement, validating acceptance criteria, gaining stakeholder buy-in, and continuous refinement of the team backlog for the designated capabilities. Accountable for delivering business value from the development and execution of Westfield's strategic capability roadmaps. Ensures that the strategic capability and user experiences are meeting the needs of customers across our business segments through direct user experience research, tight collaboration with key stakeholders, and analysis of user data. Utilizes internal and external user experience and design resources to continually improve the user experience for the capability. Establishes baseline customer experience metrics and continually drives for improvements over time. Acts as lead business representative by providing the Agile team with a clear depiction of the business value for the scope of work being developed in the program increment, has content authority within the team, establishes user story priorities, and works directly with the Scrum to resolve any issue. Works closely with partners in business architecture aligned to the set of business capabilities on our multi-year roadmap. Uses a metrics-based approach and user scorecard to meet/establish stretch goals for adoption and reporting monthly on progress. Proactively and strategically partners with colleagues responsible for employees to drive adoption In consultation with the Product Manager and other key stakeholders, oversees prioritization of the strategic capabilities in the team backlog Leverages/partners with key stakeholders across the enterprise to ensure tight alignment and integration with the stakeholder expectations. Engages internal audiences, and current customer partners, to enable adoption of the strategic capabilities, and helps to lead a strong change management effort to drive usage. Partners with external vendors for delivery of services, ensuring core Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are established and adhered to in order to deliver an exceptional experience for customers. Adopts a design-thinking approach to product development, using customer-centric thinking and user experience research to identity new capabilities or enhancements to current capabilities. Serves as a guardian and champion for the company's vision and brand identities. Travels as needed in order to perform other essential functions. Qualifications: 6 years of experience in one or a combination of the following: Agile discipline Underwriting Actuarial Product(s) (e.g. insurance, technology) Insurance Operations (e.g. billing, claims, technology) Insurance Agency Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills, resulting in the ability to interact with all levels of management and employee population. Also, including the following: Delivers messages in a clear, compelling, and concise manner. Articulates messages in a way that is broadly understandable. Adjusts communication content and style to meet need of diverse audience. Actively listens and checks for understanding. Experience utilizing critical thinking skills to create experiments for fast feedback on the value being delivered by the team. Experience creating and adapting the delivery of a minimal viable product. Experience utilizing an adaptive approach to problem solving and enabling the team to execute towards the product strategy and vision. Strong facilitation skills. Excellent analytical skills including tracking, monitoring, collecting and analyzing data and identifying trends. Experience leveraging and partnering with key stakeholders across the enterprise to ensure tight alignment and integration of stakeholder expectations. Proficient use of various core systems, office and computer equipment and software packages. Conflict resolution experience. Change management experience. Ability to work calmly under pressure. Bachelor's degree or commensurate work experience. Valid driver's license and a driving record that conforms to company standards. Physical essential functions: ability to work 40 hours in an office environment (sitting, standing, on a computer, etc.), operate office related technology (computer, phone, etc.), travel as required.
