Deliver comprehensive emergency medical care to patients with acute and critical health issues.Conduct detailed patient assessments, develop treatment protocols, and provide immediate medical interventions.Colloborate with a team of healthcare providers, including nurses and advanced practice professionals, to enhance patient care.Perform emergency procedures and utilize diagnostic methods to facilitate prompt care.Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and care plans.Engage in departmental initiatives aimed at improving quality of care and increasing patient satisfaction.Provide guidance and mentorship to junior medical staff and students, fostering a learning environment.RequirementsMD or DO degree from an accredited medical institution.Board certification in Emergency Medicine is preferred; board eligibility may be considered.Active and unrestricted medical license in New York State.Relevant experience in an emergency medicine department is preferred.Current certifications in ACLS, ATLS, and PALS are mandatory.Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.Strong interpersonal skills with a dedication to patient-centered care.Commitment to continuous professional development and passion for emergency medicine.BenefitsHealth Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)Retirement Plan (401k)Malpractice and tail covergaeW2 OR 1099 status
