Delphi Healthcare is in search of an Emergency Medicine Physician to fill a critical role, available as either a locum or permanent position. In this position, you will be responsible for providing top-notch emergency medical services to patients, working collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals, and helping to improve patient outcomes in a community-centered environment.Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality emergency care to patients with a variety of acute conditions.Perform thorough clinical assessments and establish treatment plans based on the evaluation of patients.Lead care teams in the emergency department to ensure effective coordination and delivery of services.Utilize appropriate diagnostic tests and procedures in the management of patient care.Educate patients and their families regarding their treatment plans and health conditions.Participate in hospital committees focused on quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.Work effectively alongside advanced practice providers and nursing staff in a collaborative environment.RequirementsMD or DO degree from an accredited medical institution.Board certification in Emergency Medicine is preferred; eligibility may be considered for those in training.Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of New York.Prior experience in an emergency medicine setting is highly desirable.Current certifications in ACLS, ATLS, and PALS required.Strong decision-making abilities and the capability to thrive in high-pressure situations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.A commitment to ongoing professional growth and a passion for emergency medicine.BenefitsHealth Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)Retirement Plan (401k)Malpractice and tail covergaeW2 OR 1099 status
