The Assembler is responsible for the mechanical and electrical assembly of products,including the wiring of components and sub-assemblies. This position requires the ability to follow assembly drawings and work independently to meet production schedules.Pay Rate:
$19.00/hourDuties :• Assemble products to completion following electrical drawings and schematics• Read/Interpret electrical and mechanical assembly fabrication drawings• Work independently and follow a schedule• Participate in shop cleanup activities• Communicate with Shop Leads regarding quality and production schedules• Assist coworkers with other tasks as assigned• Operate within the requirements of an ISO 9001 Quality System• Work with Quality, Environmental, H&S employees to ensure and maintain compliance withsafety, operational, and regulatory standards of Quality• Has the obligation to be aware of and comply with environmental, safety policies andregulations and always endures duties of high-quality standardsQualifications:• Ability to understand assembly prints• Mechanical aptitude; excel at the physical assembly of parts• Experience in production line assembly and fine manipulation of components andwiring.• Advanced knowledge and working experience of handheld power tools/drills up tohighest torque 65 in-lbsPhysical Demands:• The employee is frequently required to stand; use hands to finger, handle or manipulateobjects, tools, keyboards or controls• Reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear• Occasionally required to walk, sit; and may also be required to stoop, kneel, crouch orcrawl• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 poundsPosition Title: Assembler
