Senior Cost AccountantRoles & Responsibilities:Analyze manufacturing costs to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunitiesMonitor and control inventory levels for accurate valuationUpdate standard costs and ensure accuracy in the Bill of MaterialsPrepare, analyze, and report monthly gross margin analysis by customer, revenue streams, and product linesAnalyze changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, or service to determine effects on costsResponsible for account reconciliation of physical inventories and cycle countsPrepare periodic inventory reserves reconciliation, analyzing inventory for risk, and monitoring with support from internal stakeholdersAssist in month-end and year-end closing by preparing monthly journal entries, account reconciliationsMaintain pricing model and support pricing activitiesQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance and six years in manufacturing cost accounting experience is requiredProficiency in Excel, experience in manipulating large databases a plusSolid understanding of manufacturing operations, inventory, and cost accountingUnderstanding of GAAP as it applies to a manufacturing environment is requiredStrong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExtraordinary interpersonal skills to work in conjunction with other departmentsMust be a team player who also works well independentlyWhat Benefits Do We Offer?:Generous and flexible paid time off including paid personal time off, caregiver, parental, and volunteer leaveCompetitive and performance-based compensation packages and bonus planspaid on a weekly basis401k and matchPTOSick timeMedical, dental and visionSecured parking lotEmployee discountsPromote within
