Overview:
Big or Small Willard Handles It All!A HVAC/Electrical/Plumbing dispatcher assigns/plans, schedules, and routes service requests for our business.Job Summary:The Dispatch Coordinator is an integral part of the organization, scheduling and dispatching workers, work crews, equipment and service vehicles to appropriate locations according to provided customer information. This is a full-time position and reports to the Dispatch Manager.Job Responsibilities:Ability to speak professionally and courteously to customers and fellow teamAbility to manage difficult or emotional customer situations in a stressful, fast paced environment.Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.Maintain knowledge of all field technician whereabouts and well-being throughout the day.Respond promptly to customer service requests and assist with all customers questions and concerns.Work well in group problem solving situations, while contributing to building a positive team spirit.Requires good interpersonal skills to understand customers inquiries or complaints and deal effectively with people who may be worried, frustrated, or angry.Ability to learn quickly so they can acquire product/service knowledge to answer customers questions accurately.Flexibility is required; at any time may be asked to change or extend scheduled work hours according to the departments needs.Understanding, summer is the busiest time of the year and scheduling changes will be handled, if any, on a very limited basis at the discretion of senior management.
