New Horizons is the largest mental health and addiction recovery provider on the Treasure Coast (and beyond), serving 15,000 children and adults annually through inpatient crisis services, 24-hour help line and mobile response team, and outpatient programs conveniently located across Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee and St. Lucie counties. In addition, New Horizons assists 22,000 students in area schools, and we work closely with the courts, law enforcement, jails, and hospitals to help improve the health of individuals and the quality of life in our community.

Chief Financial Officer

who is eager to learn. The perfect candidate would be a tech savy individual with strong accounting and data analyst skills. Our Chief Financial Officer must have the ability to manage billing, finance and purchasing responsibilities as well as run financial reports and communicate data. This is a full-time in office position.

As a Chief Financial Officer your responsibilities will include:

•Provides administrative direction, leadership and supervision of staff

•Completes Employee performance evaluations

•Prepares, interprets, analyzes and communicates financial reports and data to administration, management staff and the Board of Directors.

•Maintains General Ledger and prepares monthly financial reports for distribution to program managers and Board of Directors

•Responsible for the coordination and outcome of all outside conducted financial audits

•Participates in the preparation of the annual budget and performs special projects as assigned.

•Ensures timely filing of all federal and state reports as required.

•Ensures timely submission of all required financial, productivity, cost accounting and related reports to the Agency's external funding bodies. Develops, interprets, coordinates and administers the Agency's policies on finance, accounting, insurance, patient billing, internal controls, and management information systems.

•Supervises the centralized inpatient and outpatient charge posting, billing and collection operations.

Requirements

New Horizons will need you to have the following qualifications:

BA in accounting or financial related fieldCPA PreferredFive (5) years' experience in the public sector, non-profit or healthcare setting, including at least two (2) years administrative and/or supervisory experienceMust be able to manage billing, finance and purchasingMust have strong data analyst skills and ability to run ,interpret and communicate reportsKnowledge of Tableau and Power BI , preferred
