We seek a dynamic and experienced Task Force Manager to join our team on the Oregon Coast, in either Newport or Lincoln City. This role offers the opportunity to lead and manage alongside a team of hospitality professionals and significantly impact our company's success. It is intended to support the General Management role, provide backup support, increase training availability, and provide extra leadership when necessary between the properties.
Responsibilities:
Operational oversight and review. Assess the hotel departments, ensuring they run smoothly and coordinate between teams.
Provide vacation support for general and assistant general managers—step in to run an operation, providing guidance and leadership in the general manager's absence.
Recruit and onboard new staff and train existing staff to improve service levels.
Train operational managers, promote from within, and hire externally on position basics and procedures.
Crisis management through problem-solving and implementing solutions to maintain guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Regularly assessing service quality and operational processes to identify areas for improvement.
Work with the team to ensure revenue goals are met, teach strategies to the team, and implement outreach.
Developing short- and long-term strategic goals for performance improvement.
Leading, influencing, and encouraging others.
Ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry
Food and beverage experience a plus
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of industry best practices and trends
Flexibility to travel as needed
