Contracts Manager, Senior
to work out of
El Segundo, CA*Position is contingent upon award of contract*Pay:
$132,000 - $142,000Essential Duties:Conducts the preparation, negotiation, acceptance, and management of government contracts and subcontracts to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.Analyze estimates of material, equipment and production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.Duties also include reviewing contractual documents to ensure adherence to company policy, government specifications and requirements, and conformance to master agreements.Advises management of contractual rights and obligations and provides interpretation of terms and conditions.Involved in development of budgets, schedules and performance standards.
Required Qualifications:Expert in Federal, DoD, Air Force, and SSC contracting processes and proceduresDemonstrates ability to assist gov with all aspects of any contract action required by the program office, including but not limited to solicitations, change proposals, funding modifications and award, or incentive fee managementPrior PCO or buyer experience preferredHighly Desired: past or present experience with SSC or mission partner space control or space situational awareness mission area programsProficient in MS Office
Education:Bachelor's degree with 15 years of relevant experience.Master's degree with 13 years of relevant experience.PhD or Juris Doctorate degree with 4 years of relevant experience.
