El Segundo, CA.*Position is contingent upon award of contract*Pay:
$132,000-$142,000Essential Duties:This position manages, supervises, performs, or develops policies and procedures for professional work involving the procurement of supplies, services, construction, or research and development using formal advertising or negotiation procedures; the evaluation of contract price proposals; and the administration or termination and close out of contracts.The work requires knowledge of the legislation, regulations, and methods used in contracting; and knowledge of business and industry practices, sources of supply, cost factors, and requirements characteristics.Required Qualifications:Expert in Federal, DoD, Air Force, and SSC contracting processes and proceduresDemonstrates ability to assist gov with all aspects of any contract action required by the program office, including but not limited to solicitations, change proposals, funding modifications and award, or incentive fee managementPrior PCO or buyer experience preferredHighly Desired: past or present experience with SSC or mission partner space control or space situational awareness mission area programsEducation:Bachelor's degree with 14 years of relevant experience.Master's degree with 12 years of relevant experience.PhD or Juris Doctorate degree with 9 years of relevant experience.Required Clearance:
