GeneralSummary:
Centrus Energy Corp. seeks an experienced individual to fill the role of Tax Supervisor on our corporate headquarters team under a hybrid work schedule. The Tax Supervisor will assume responsibility for the quarterlyincometaxprovisionandpreparationofthecompanysconsolidatedfederalandstateincome taxreturns.Theywillworkcloselywithothersintheaccountinggroupandthroughouttheorganization to understand and analyze issues for pertinent income tax, property tax, sales tax, or other tax consequences. The Tax Supervisor will demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of and experience in the use of OneSource Tax Provision and OneSource Income Tax systems. The Tax Supervisor is expected to continually identify process and quality improvementsin the companys tax processes.They will report directly to the Director, Tax, and the two of them will work together on all company tax issues.
EssentialFunctionsoftheJob:
Prepare ASC740 quarterly income tax provision calculations including permanent and temporary difference tax adjustments using OneSource Tax Provision, maintain deferred tax asset and liability schedules, prepare tax disclosures and footnotes for quarterly and annual reports(Form10-Qand10-K),respondtoquestionsfromexternaltaxauditteamforquarterly and annual income tax provisions, and prepare tax entries and quarterly tax account reconciliations.Prepare consolidated federal and state income tax returns using OneSource Income Tax, includingallrelatedworkpapersandpreparepersonalpropertyandfranchisetaxreturns.WorkcloselywithaccountingfixedassetpersonneltoupdatefixedassetsforOracleFusion Cloud tax books monthly.Preparemonthlysalestaxdeterminationsandcalculations.Preparequarterlyestimatedfederalandstateincometaxpayments.Researchtechnicalfederalandstatetaxissuesanddocumentfindingsinataxmemo.MaintainSOXtaxcontrols,timelyexecutekeytaxcontrols,andpreparedocumentation updates, as needed, for key tax controls and processes.Work closely with accounting and FPandA personnel and others to understand business operationsandtogathercriticaldatatodocumenttaxadjustmentsforrequiredtaxfilings.WorkcloselywithFPandApersonneltoforecastcashtaxesandtax accruals.Identifytaxsavingsandsystemimprovementopportunities.Performotherdutiesandcompletespecialprojectsasassigned.
MinimumQualifications:
BachelorsDegreeinAccountingCertifiedPublicAccountant8+yearsofcorporatefederalandstateincometaxexperienceinamedium-sizedpublic company meeting the closing and reporting deadlines of a publicly traded company.StrongworkingknowledgeofASC740.StrongworkingknowledgeofMicrosoftOffice,OneSourceTaxProvision,andOneSource Income Tax applications with demonstrated ability to learn new applications.Salesandusetaxreportingexperience.ExperiencewithSOXtaxcontrolsandpreparingprocessdocumentation.Processimprovementmindsetwithexperienceidentifyingandimplementingprocess efficiencies.Detailandresultsorientedwithabilitytoidentifyissuesandprovidesolutions.Demonstratedabilitytoresearchanddocumenttechnicalfederalandstatetaxissues.Abilitytohandlemultipleprojectssimultaneously.Self-motivatedandabletoworkwithminimalsupervision.Excellentverbalandwrittencommunicationskills.Thecandidatemustmeettherequirementsof10CFR810and10CFR1017toa cessexport- controlled information and unclassified controlled nuclear information.

Pay:
Estimated Starting Base Salary Range: $102,907 - $128,634. Centrus considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
