Position supports the Corporate Tax Department in the Enterprise Operations business. Position performs tasks related to income tax compliance.Position will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:Filing estimated payments, extensions and tax returns, as well as preparing tax forecasts and provisions.Compliance functions including the preparation of Federal and State Corporate and Partnership Income and Franchise Tax Returns.Develops and maintains critical relationships between Tax and Business Units to ensure tax has a well-informed view of the business operations.Coordinates closely with others in the Department and Business Unit contacts to ensure timely and accurate preparation of quarterly and annual tax provision and related disclosures.Basic Qualifications:4 years experience working with income tax laws and procedures.4 years experience preparing federal and state C Corporation income tax returns.Ability to perform moderately complex tax research and correctly interpret tax law.Proficiency w/Microsoft Office Applications especially Excel and Word (features include: VLookup, Pivot Tables, Formulas, Multiple Worksheets, Tables, Templates, etc.)High level of accuracy, attention to details and ability to work with a team and independently with little guidance.Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with peers, customers, and managers.Desired Skills:CPA and/or Masters Degree in Tax, Accounting, or related discipline.3+ years experience with a Big Four or large public accounting firm.Familiarity with ASC 740 and SARBOX.Familiarity with Thomson Reuters OneSource and CorpTax.Familiarity with AI, Alteryx and/or dashboards.
