As a Wealth Advisor with Capital Planning Advisors, you will manage existing client relationships, prospect new clients and implement financial advice. Strengthen client relationships by developing client centric financial plans and investment management recommendations in conjunction with our collaborative team-based approach.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

To perform this job successfully, individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:

Responsible for all planning, analysis, risk tolerance discussions for investment and other decisions that affect the client relationship and consult with senior teammates on complex or potentially risky decisionsMeet with clients on a regular/as needed basis with responsibility to manage the full client relationshipGrow existing relationships by adding more assets under management, identifying opportunities for more services and identifying referral chancesConduct financial needs assessment meetings with clients seeking financial advice or planning assistanceSpecific advisory work may include, but is not limited to:

Preparing and updating financial plansDeveloping asset allocation strategies and investment policy statementsAdvising clients on appropriate financial services and products given their planPreparing and presenting insurance cases

Apply relevant industry knowledge to provide recommendations as a fiduciaryAssist in the implementation of relevant and desired recommendationsMaintain contact with clients and monitors investment performanceThrough outreach, marketing, and active involvement in the community, develops leads for new client base and referralsKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND/OR ABILITIES:

To perform this job successfully, individual should have the following skills and abilities:

Must have strong relationship management skillsMust be able to demonstrate an ability to work in a team environmentMust be able to demonstrate an ability to work in a fiduciary capacityMust have the ability to utilize critical thinking skills, solve problems, work within a team and anticipate firm needs and client questionsThorough understanding of investments, financial markets and planning strategies for high-net-worth clientsMust be detail oriented, structured and have a high degree of consistencyAbility to develop and close warm prospective clients.Creative, with a breadth of interests, and an intrinsic initiative to learnAble to perform multiple tasks efficientlyEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Series 65 (or equivalent) FINRA registration.CFP preferredA minimum of five years of direct industry/client facing experienceProficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.PHYSICAL DEMAND:
