Job Description
Provide recommendations to increase the utilization of standard application functionality to improve business processes and capabilities within the supply chain. Provide comprehensive application functionality, configuration and support expertise for application software solutions for supply chain applications such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). Work with business analysts, architects, technical experts, and software vendors on the solution requirements, design, configuration, functionality gap resolution, implementation, support, maintenance and enhancement of the applications. Lead the analysis of internal supply chain capability, business processes, and application functionality to assess information technology capacity and propose automation for decision support processes via business intelligence applications. Perform Solution Functional Fit Analysis and liaise between the supply chain function and the technology team to translate tactical and strategic objectives into workable solutions and coordinate the remediation of deficiencies. Lead the creation and management of functional specifications for supply chain projects from which programs and configurations will be applied to create the program, application, or complete solution. Serve as subject matter expert and point of contact on content, processes, procedures and functionality associated with relevant applications for supply chain projects and application support. Partner with process owners, business analysts, systems analysts, and architects to gather, document and review functional, architectural and technical requirements and define application functional designs. Configure, create and tests a solution for commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) applications using industry standards and tools, version control and build and test automation to meet business, technical, security, governance and compliance requirements. Lead and conduct solution design, modeling, and configuration to ensure that functional and technical specifications meet the identified business needs within the organization and across the supply chain. Determine optimum application setup and configuration and analyze complex supply chain data to provide functional recommendations for supply chain applications and systems
Responsibilities
Positions require a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or Technology Management, Information Systems, or related field and 3 years of experience as a Supply Chain, Business, Systems or Technology Analyst, or related position. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or Technology Management, Information Systems, or related field and 5 years of experience as a Supply Chain, Business, Systems or Technology Analyst, or related position. Experience to include: Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP); Analysis of internal supply chain capability; Solution Functional Fit Analysis; Create functional specifications; Supply chain projects and application support; Build and test automation; Solution design, modeling, and configuration; Supply chain application setup and configuration.
