With a track record of investigating, litigating, and settling numerous mesothelioma and asbestos lung cancer cases, the firm is dedicated to seeking justice for those affected.As a Paralegal/Legal Assistant at The Halpern Law Firm, you will be an important team member in helping manage the cases of out clients. This is a hands-on role, where you will be both managing, following up, and completing assignments.Responsibilities:- Prepare, file, and serve documents with federal courts electronically- Communicate with clients and witnesses to schedule meets, interviews, and depositions- Maintain attorneys calendars- Request records of our clients in a timely manner- Send correspondence to clients, defense counsel, etc.- Follow up with other staff members and attorneys on the status of cases- Maintain organization of multiple casesQualifications & Skills:- 2+ years of related experience- Strong oral and written skills- Must be comfortable speaking with a diverse group of people & able to work with all levels of staff- Experience at a law firm preferred- Must be able to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines- Knowledge of Asbestos Litigation a plus- Paralegal certification or degree a plus.Location:
