IntePros is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer for our client with offices in Windsor, CT.This role will be 100% onsite initially with options for a hybrid schedule once fully onboarded with the team.The Senior Electrical Engineer oversees the development of low noise analog and digital circuits based on Microprocessors and Microcontrollers, along with implementing PCB layout techniques for EMI reduction and power efficiency in battery-powered circuits. Additionally, responsibilities include network interface electrical design and the design, verification, and enhancement of various sensing technologies for user interface devices. Proficiency in designing systems operating on Linux and Android platforms is required, alongside a strong aptitude for creative problem-solving, innovative solution development, and effective teamwork.Key Areas of Responsibility •Mentors' junior engineers in all aspects of their daily work including identifying learning opportunities and reviewing work products.•Expert use of all typical electronic lab equip. (Oscilloscopes, DVM's, capacitance/inductance meters, I2C monitors, etc.)•Develops circuit, component, subsystem, and equipment interfaces and procurement specifications.•Perform resolution of anomalies identified during production manufacturing and test; as well as during customer deployment.•Designs digital, analog circuits, components, and subsystems.•Prepares designs specifications, analyses, and recommendations.•Performs circuit interconnection or subsystem prototype assembly.•Prepares design and operation objectives, specifications, and resource needs.•Recommends test control, strategies, apparatus, and equipment.•Supports the interfaces with customers, contractors, and marketing vendors.•Evaluates vendor capabilities to provide required products or services.•Conduct in-house design reviews and technical meetings.•Prepares design proposal to reflect cost, schedule, and technical approaches.•Monitors project status and progress.•Manages personal schedule for electrical engineering tasks.•Keeps abreast of improvements in electronic engineering techniques.•Maintains existing electrical network infrastructure.•Supports production area with regards to production toolsets, networks and processes.Required Qualifications•Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering with 7 years' experience or an applicable Master's of Science degree.•Experience in designing, developing, and testing embedded systems hardware that support Linux and Android OS.•Computer literate and strong skills using PCB design CAD software.•Good understanding of basic DC power supply topologies, switching, linear LDO. Experience implementing electrical circuits. Strong understanding of Network protocols and their implementation in embedded systems.•Ability to choose parts and derive circuit values from voltage current, size, and cost requirements.•Knowledge of customer needs and competing products.•Experience with Biometric support systemsIntePros is a certified woman-owned results-oriented recruiting solutions and staffing company.
