Overview:
ReGenesis Health Care is seeking an enthusiastic Director of Addiction Medicine with excellent leadership and patient-care skills and a great attitude to join our established Community Health Center. The Director of Addiction Medicine will head our Addiction Medicine department providing leadership and oversight for providers providing Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) services, serving as medical director of the Phoenix Center, and providing MAT care to our patients. Requirements
Certification/License:South Carolina license to practice medicine.Current certification by an appropriate American Specialty Board, or board eligible and in process to become board certified within 12 months of hire.Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR.Experience:
Completion of a qualified residency program or demonstration of a reasonable volume of patient care within the past 12 months.Experience with Patient Centered Medical Home model preferred.Education:
Graduate of an accredited medical school with a degree of Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy.Completion of an approved residency program in Internal Medicine or Family MedicineCompletion of an approved fellowship in Addiction Medicine, preferred.
