Job Title: Architectural Project ManagerJob Description
This position assists the Principal Architect in planning and developing all phases of a project. The Project Manager functions as the point of contact for interface, coordination, construction oversight, reviews, verifications, quality assurance, and close-out activities related to assigned projects.
Responsibilities
Provide project drafting, technical expertise, research, and document preparation for all phases of development, preparation, and presentations.
Anticipate, investigate, and resolve project-related issues and problems as they occur.
Ensure projects are completed in accordance with designated designs, codes, specifications, construction standards, budgets, and schedule requirements.
Apply current building codes, city, state, and federal regulations, Americans with Disabilities Act requirements, and other regulatory guidelines as appropriate.
Coordinate daily activities of the design team, including in-house team members and outside consultants, to achieve an efficient flow of work.
Maintain current knowledge of relevant state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and/or systems.
Ensure that all hours are accurately entered at the project level in the time tracking module each day.
Develop a training plan to improve job skills and enhance career development in conjunction with a supervisor.

Advanced knowledge of current building codes, city, state, and federal regulations
Americans with Disabilities Act and other regulatory codes
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
Advanced proficiency utilizing Revit to produce construction documents
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Minimum of four years of project management experience, with eight years preferred
State of Alabama Driver’s License required
Registered Architect preferred
Work Environment
Laid-back environment with a flexible work schedule. The individual will be based in Mobile, assisting in getting an office started there.
