Job Title: Architectural Project Manager
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Architect - Project Manager to join our Scottsdale office. This role involves managing anywhere from 4-5 projects at a time and will be exposed to a broad range of architectural projects from planning and design inception through construction completion, including new construction, renovation, and adaptive re-use. This position is comparable to AIA Architect Level II and Architect Level III (licensed, or non-licensed) defined positions.
Key responsibilities include managing A/E projects on all levels from planning and design conception through construction, effectively communicating and coordinating with project teams, consultants, and clients, preparing complex architectural construction drawings, overseeing project schedules, cost projections, and budget estimates, managing site planning and zoning research, attending planning and zoning or municipal meetings, developing technical solutions, drafting architectural plans and details, preparing bid packages, supervising construction administration tasks, and maintaining compliance with project standards.
You will report to the studio leader and/or principal in charge of assigned projects.
Hard Skills
Architecture experience
7 years of experience within the architecture industry
Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field with technical architecture experience
Experience with construction documentation
Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
Job Type
This is a permanent position.
Work Site
This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Scottsdale, Arizona and some days remote.
Work Environment
Office setting in Scottsdale with headquarters in Michigan. This is a hybrid role, with 3-4 days in the office (typically Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday) and remote work on Wednesday and Friday. The specific schedule may vary depending on project needs.
