Position Summary:
Barcel USA is currently in search of a dynamic, curious, highly motivated and collaborative Consumer Insights Associate Manager to lead and assist in the planning, coordination, and implementation of research activities for iconic brands such as Takis ®, Popcornopolis ® and Sanissimo ®. As Barcel USA undergoes an exciting phase of strategic expansion, the Associate Manager will play a crucial role in understanding consumer behavior, assisting in shaping our marketing strategies and making a positive impact in our company, customers, consumers and our purpose of nourishing a better world.
This position reports to the Senior Manager Consumer Insights who oversees all consumer insights planning, capability building and management supporting the Barcel USA and Global Marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead or assist in the planning, coordination, and implementation of research activities for the various Barcel USA brands.
• Develop research proposals, suggesting research methodologies based on business needs and objectives.
• Execute research studies, including designing questionnaires, programming surveys, analyzing findings, and presenting results.
• Manage ad hoc research to support the needs of specific categories, such as decision trees and shelf tests.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and sales, to ensure research aligns with business goals and objectives.
• Proactively identify opportunities for new research studies to support business needs and strategies.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in consumer research, and incorporate them into research strategies and recommendations.
• Manage research budgets and timelines to ensure projects are completed within budget and on time.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Market Research, Psychology, or other related fields.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in consumer insights, market research, or marketing in Consumer Packaged Goods or Retail industry.
• Strong understanding of consumer behavior and market research methodologies.
• Experience in developing and executing research studies, including designing questionnaires, analyzing data, and presenting findings.
• Demonstrated ability to translate research findings into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex data and insights to cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
• Proficiency in market research and data analysis tools, including DIY platforms.
• Proactive problem-solver with the ability to think critically and creatively.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
