CDL DRIVER / EQUIPMENT ASSOCIATEPOSITION SUMMARYSupports field operations by preparing, delivering, retrieving, cleaning, testing, and storing Okland owned equipment. Performs maintenance or minor mechanic functions to keep equipment in good repair. Help keep the equipment storage yard and warehouse clean and organized.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESLoads and unloads trucks.Delivers equipment and materials to job sites.Maintains delivery vehicles to Okland's professional standards.Inspects, operates, and tests machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunction.Ensures warehouse is clean, organized, and safe for other employees.Records materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program.Weighs, count, and/or sorts items for distribution.Regular, timely, and predictable attendance is required for this position.ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESComply with DOT log and records regulationsActively participate in monthly safety meetings and work to promote a safe workplace.Track work time to ensure proper billing.Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) is desirable, but not required.5+ years verifiable CDL Driving flatbed experience preferred.CERTIFICATION/LICENSE REQUIREMENTSMust maintain a valid state Class A commercial driver license with air brake endorsement.Must maintain a current DOT medical card.Forklift certification is preferred (will be trained after hire).Aerial lift certification is preferred (will be trained after hire).10-hour OSHA class completion is (will be trained after hire).

The employee is also required to frequently inspect the project and will be exposed to ongoing construction and various weather conditions, including rain, sleet, snow and wind, heat. The noise level in the work environment may range from moderate to loud. The employee is also required to frequently walk on uneven surfaces.Hazards:

May be exposed to extremes of heat and cold as well as certain unsafe environments; occasionally works near moving equipment and mechanical parts and electrical equipment; possible exposure to fumes or airborne particles; possible exposure to internal liquids. This is a safety sensitive position where a momentary lapse of attention can result in serious injury or death. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and occasionally very loud. Must follow all safety requirements carefully.
