We are seeking a skilled Software QA Engineer to join our growing team and ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality.Job Summary:As a Software Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer at Chalk Solutions, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the functionality, performance, and reliability of our software applications. You will collaborate with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to create comprehensive test plans, execute manual and automated tests, provide customer support, and report issues to improve the overall user experience.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and execute test cases for both manual and automated testing.Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand software requirements and ensure testability.Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools.Perform regression testing to ensure that resolved defects do not introduce new issues.Participate in design reviews and provide input on requirements, product design, and potential problems.Analyze test results, identify trends, and report key findings to stakeholders.Provide customer support by addressing technical issues, investigating user-reported problems, and offering solutions in collaboration with the development team.Continuously improve testing processes to increase efficiency, quality, and scalability.Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in QA and software testing.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Proven experience as a Software QA Engineer or similar role.Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.Experience with both manual and automated testing (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestRail).Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).Experience with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#) is a plus.Experience with performance and/or security testing is an advantage.
