We have a career opportunity for a Transit Planning Project Manager in our Cincinnati office! This position will be under the guidance of the Transit Group Manager or Senior Project Manager and will coordinate with other Project Managers and Transit Team members as needed. This position has the opportunity for great career progression, working on challenging projects for a wide range of public sector clients.Location
This position will report to our Cincinnati office 2-3 days a week. Other days will be worked remotely.The Impact You Will Have
Participate or lead transit planning and operational studies for transit systems of varying sizes and services across the US.Prepare, review, and oversee quality control/assurance for project deliverables.Serve as a liaison with key clients to coordinate Benesch projects and assist in project delivery.Mentor, guide, and develop other staff.Contribute to business development activities such as developing project teams, leading pursuit strategies, and proposal writing.What We Are Looking For
10+ years of experience in a similar role.Bachelor’s or master’s degree in planning, Geography, Engineering, or related field.Strong understanding of transportation and transit planning concepts, practices, and procedures. Experience with technology-based on-demand transit services is preferred.General project management experience including project staffing, budgeting/cost control, schedule adherence, and quality control.Knowledge of FTA, ODOT regulations, policies, and procedures, transit regulatory compliance or financial considerations, and/or transit agency experience a plus.AICP preferred.Strong technical, communication, and writing skills.Ability to identify business needs and opportunities and effectively forge client and teaming relationships.Expertise with Microsoft Office.Explore the Benefits of Working at Benesch!
