The ideal candidate will have both the technical background and leadership experience or potential to successfully manage a broad range of water resources projects.The successful candidate will self-perform and direct project teams in the planning and design of water-related infrastructure projects, as well as play an important role in managing client relationships. The position includes involvement in strategic initiatives that will continue to drive the growth of the water/wastewater group, not only in Pennsylvania but nationwide. This position has the opportunity for a flexible hybrid work schedule with some travel as necessary for client needs.Location
This position will have a hybrid work schedule and, when in the office, will work from any of our Pennsylvania region locations, including King of Prussia, Pittsburgh, Pottsville, or Wilkes-Barre, PA.The Impact You Will Have
Advanced recognition of the need for and development of design.Perform complex analysis.Check and sign off on basic design calculations and plans.Layout drawings for a component and demonstrate an understanding of relationship to the whole.Design elements/components of a project and coordinate development with other elements and disciplines.Demonstrate understanding between specifications, cost estimates, and pay.Assume responsibility for assigned design calculation files, assuring adequate independent QC reviews.What We Are Looking For
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related discipline required.Minimum of four (4) years of experience with water resources, drinking water, and/or wastewater.Increasing skills in creativity and judgment in application of engineering.Increased knowledge of software appropriate for the discipline, showing proficiency in multiple programs specific for this.Ability to collaborate with others in a team environment.Explore the Benefits of Working at Benesch!
