Application Engineer I or II
who will support customer process control needs by pursuing sales opportunities individually, and by partnering with Account Managers and Sales Associates in obtaining product orders. The individual in this role will ensure high levels of customer service and satisfaction in accordance with our “Think Customer” principles.What You’ll DoPropose and sell customer solutions by listening to and evaluating our customer’s requirements and selecting and proposing innovative control solutions.Grow our valve automation business to meet annual company sales goals by promoting NECI's reputation as a total valve supplier for ball valves, butterfly valves, valve automation, and solutions.Achieve desired sales results for annual new product initiatives by participating in NECI and principal new product launches.Provide support & technical services to customers by assisting users with start-up, checkout, and calibration.Support on-time delivery to customers by assessing needs, determining factories’ abilities, and negotiating due dates.Identify new sales opportunities and ensure consistent service by maintaining accurate customer information.Understand and actively participate in our quality management system.Participate in the company’s safety and health program.Maintain and develop professional and technical competence through training sessions and workshops.Inform supervisor/manager and appropriate NECI personnel of market conditions.Contribute to overall team effort by participating in the pursuit of Company and Departmental Goals.What You’ll BringBachelor’s Degree in Engineering: Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical0-5 years of relevant work experienceCompetitive Spirit: self-motivated and driven by exceeding goals and delivering growth to the business.Proven experience in customer-facing roles and a passion for engagement with an audience.
