is currently seeking a

Senior SharePoint Developer

to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO in support of the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD)/United States Northern Command (USNORTHCOM) Information Technology (IT) Enterprise Services (NITES). NORAD is a United States and Canada bi-national organization charged with the missions of aerospace warning, aerospace control and maritime warning for North America.Job Responsibilities:Performs a wide range of activities to setup and manipulate web parts, maintain, and modify master pages, and connect to various data sources for dynamic display of information.Report actual and potential safety issues to appropriate supervisors and management personnel.Implement SharePoint products as required by the government.Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint architecture and applications, workflows, and forms.Provide SharePoint administrative support for SharePoint sites.Collaborate the achievement of projects that align with mission goals.Apply permissions and managed content as requested from the customer to manage and secure their data.Perform high-level, day-to-day operational maintenance, support, and upgrades for complex operating systems, workstations and servers.Continually monitors and tunes multiple systems to achieve optimum performance levels.Provides expertise on continuous process improvement strategies, organizational redesign, change management projects, and performance measures for basic business process engagements.Conducts analysis of business processes: current state analysis, gap analysis, benchmarking, best practices identification, organizational assessment, and other related tasks.Plans and implements process improvements, including: future state design, change management, and transition planning.Interfaces with all areas of project including customer, computer services, and client services.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience in related discipline.Experience in SharePoint development with either on-premises 2013, 2016 or 2019 environments.Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, including site collections, lists, libraries, web parts, and workflows.In-depth knowledge of SharePoint fundamentals such as sites (classic, modern), apps, audiences, libraries, lists, views, forms, workflows, sub-sites, metadata, web parts, style sheets, and master pages.Must be a U.S. Citizen.Must have and be capable of maintaining a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret security clearance.Preferred Qualifications:Compliance with DoD 8140 IAT II requirements (e.g., a current Security+ CE certificate).Technical and communications skills to enable effective dialogue between internal and external customers, at all levels.Experience with DoD cryptographic equipment and related material handling and use.Experience with Department of Defense messaging and messaging systems.Experience in a high-visibility, mission-focused environment where systems availability is closely monitored and prioritized.
