Kenneth Copeland Ministries Canada’s Media and Communications team (PD Team) is hiring a Digital Communications Specialist.At KCM, we seek to hire people who reflect the mission and heart of our ministry. The successful candidate is a motivated and organized individual who cares about reaching the people with the Word of God.Reporting to the Partner Development Manager, the Digital Communications Specialist is responsible for curating and developing content for KCM Canada’s various digital and social media channels, and executes campaigns to support the goals and objectives of KCM. This also includes contributing to KCBC Canada, Victory Channel Canada, and Victory Coffee + Kitchen.You will write messaging and create visual, informative content for website, social media, email, and print. You are also able to A/B test and monitor analytics to make an informed decision to reach the target audience more effectively. Occasionally you will be required to monitor comments and conversations and have a pulse on how our audience is engaging with us.This position is not a remote job. You will be required to work onsite as well as be part of organization events and conferences in person. You will also be required to travel for work and filming. If you live outside BC, you will need to be willing to move closer to the office in Langley, BC.Job Requirements:
Education and Experience:Advanced diploma in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing or other relevant field.Minimum 4 years experience in communications or marketing, working with social media and digital content for diverse communities.Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience acceptable to the employer.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Sound knowledge of photography standards and relevant laws for use of material on digital platforms.Strong writing, editing, and presentation skills.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Strong interpersonal skills with openness, collaboration and the ability to work in a group setting.Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and knowledge of user experience principles and web accessibility guidelines.Ability to work with a wide variety of online social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.).Ability to produce graphics, short social videos and visual content.Ability to write, prepare and post content to websites for both internal and external audiences.Ability to use various design tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator to develop a wide range of graphics and communications materials.Ability to write content, promote KCM Canada, and respond to online concerns in an informed and engaging manner.Ability to effectively convey information through digital storytelling and multimedia techniques.Ability to exercise initiative, resourcefulness and judgement.Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in an appropriate manner while displaying a high degree of judgement, discretion, and decision-making ability.Ability to work under tight deadlines and pressures with scrupulous attention to detail while managing multiple projects.Ability to analyze social media analytics and make informed decisions on creating content and campaigns.Other Considerations:
