is seeking a qualified individual to serve as a Senior Data Analyst, Office of Military-Civilian Transition, Defense Human Resource Activity.The Military-Civilian Transition Office (MCTO) requires programmatic research, analysis, assessments, product development, document drafting, recommendations, coordination, synchronization, and analytic support services for Service members preparing for their next step in life - whether pursuing an additional vocational trade or higher education, finding employment in the public or private sector, or starting their own business; or Reserve Component (RC) members and their families adjusting to pre- and post-activation, mobilization or deployment. MCTO designs cohesive, modular, outcome-based training, events and courses that promote effective and efficient support of transitioning Service members and members of the National Guard and Reserve, their families and communities worldwide.Major Responsibilities:The position of Senior Data Analyst is responsible for developing and implementing a set of techniques or analytics applications to transform raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software.Apply data mining, data modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning to extract and analyze information from large structured and unstructured datasets.Visualize, interpret, report data findings, and create dynamic data reports.Develop statistical analysis plans and data management procedures using relational database principles, protocols, and methodology.Integrate and analyze data from many sources, including resolving data problems.Conduct complex and detailed quantitative statistical analyses, using statistical analysis software such as SAS, to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of programs and service delivery.Perform quantitative statistical analyses using complex analytic methods, including multiple regression, general linear model, correlation, t-test, creating composite variables, and longitudinal analysis.Perform qualitative statistical analysis of large datasets of written comments to identify themes and draw validated conclusions.Qualifications:Applicants must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.At Interactive Government Holdings, Inc.
