Partner with clients and colleagues to understand UX problems and define solutions that balance business objectives, user needs, and technical restraints.Design end to end user experiences through research, mock-ups, personas development, interactions flows and prototypes, and specification documents.Design and lead user testing and usability research and deliver insights and actionable results.Present designs and artifacts to clients and internal stakeholders.Develop and communicate standard UI patterns.Illustrate user experience concepts (experience models, personas, user flows, site maps, storyboards, and prototypes, etc.).Contribute to all aspects of design including requirement defining, user research, workflow diagramming, detailed design, development of use cases and scenarios, and engineering support.Partner closely with developers, QA and product managers to rapidly iterate designs based on user feedback, tech constraints, and market dynamics.Basic Qualifications:
3+ years' experience in a client-facing, UX Designer or Information Architect role.3+ years’ experience planning and facilitating user research and usability tests.2+ years' experience in one or more of the following: common design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.), prototyping tools (InVision, Axure, etc.), and collaboration tools (Abstract, Sharepoint, etc.).Nice to have:
Understanding of UX/UI process and methodology.Demonstrated skills creating highly detailed process flows, sitemaps, wireframes, prototypes, and other UX deliverables.Agile and/or Scrum development methods.Ability to partner closely with developers, QA and product managers to rapidly iterate on designs based on user feedback and technical constraints.Common design tools (Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.), prototyping tools (InVision, Axure, etc.), and collaboration tools (Abstract, Sharepoint, etc.).The ability to sketch and generate big-picture ideas for early-stage UX work.Familiarity with deliverables such as user research analysis, use cases and scenarios, flows, detailed designs, annotations, and design systems.Understanding of UX best practices across User Experience Design, Information Architecture, Content Strategy, User Interface Design.Client (presentation) communication skills and the ability to present and sell ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical).Education:
