Join our team as a Lead Talent.Job SummaryThis position will take a leadership role in developing, implementing and managing Talent and Organization Development processes and projects across the employee lifecycle within in the following capability areas:Leadership Development and CoachingTalent Management (Performance, Development, and Career)Functional Organization and Team DevelopmentEmployee Sentiment / EngagementThis position will provide thought leadership, benchmark, gather input, prioritize and plan both process and program development and change projects. It will manage milestones and coordinate both implementation and sustainment. It will utilize critical thinking, strategic and project management skills to take complex information and varying perspectives/interests and distill it to recommend Talent approaches that will move Harley-Davidson forward in its strategic plan. It will drive the design and delivery of recommendations and initiatives prioritized for delivery. This position will ensure that talent philosophies and processes have necessary documentation, education and promotion and that they are appropriately enabled through the use of technology.This position will work closely with Field Human Resources, Human Resources Service Center, Communications, Digital Office and Finance to ensure effective application of global processes and frameworks with appropriate technology and quality control. It will also collaborate directly with leaders at all levels of H-D to consult and/or support Talent related efforts as prioritized with manager and Field HR.Job ResponsibilitiesCollaboration: Employee will collaborate with Human Resources, business leaders, Human Resources COEs (centers of expertise) and other stakeholders across HDI to coordinate development and delivery of Talent initiatives across HDI. Employee will improve results achieved in stakeholder groups through the development of effective relationships, interaction skills project management and metrics/analytics.Program/Project Management: Employee will ensure all work is organized and methodical. Employee provides thought leadership around scorecard and measuring business results/impact. Employee will model Harley-Davidson’s PMM Methodology and lead efforts to manage project timelines, resource planning, budget & financial tracking.Communication: Employee will interact with variety of stakeholders via various communication mediums (written and/or verbal).Continuous Improvement: Employee is expected to find ways to continuously improve processes and responsibilities in their job. Provides customers with excellence in services through continual improvement that focuses on minimizing waste and variability.Self-Development: Employees at all levels are expected to keep abreast of new and changing technology and methods that enhance their skill set.
