Responsibilities
Setup and configuration of complex network environmentsExecute and maintain networking environment by designing system configuration; directing system installation; defining, documenting, and enforcing system standardsMaximize network performance through proactive monitoring; troubleshooting network problems and outages; plan, document, and schedule upgrades and changes to network infrastructure; collaborate with network architects on network optimization, design, and implementationAssist in the design of IP address schemes, Subnetting, Ether-Channel (Bonding), etc.Maintain multi-site network operations and software applications, operating systems and regular maintenance with both private and public facilitiesMaintain a thorough understanding of the basics behind the Internet and its workings (Security, IP Routing, VPN, etc.)Evaluate the security of a network design and make improvement recommendationsQualificationsRequired:Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experienceAt least 2 years of experience in complex network environment supportAt least 1 year of experience designing, managing and/or assessing complex IT infrastructuresExpertise in infrastructure, including firewalls, load balancing, and networksExcellent operational and delivery skillsAbility to “think big
