ResponsibilitiesSetup and configuration of complex network environmentsExecute and maintain networking environment by designing system configuration; directing system installation; defining, documenting, and enforcing system standardsMaximize network performance through proactive monitoring; troubleshooting network problems and outages; plan, document, and schedule upgrades and changes to network infrastructure; collaborates with network architects on network optimization, design, and implementationAssist in the design of IP address schemes, Subnetting, Ether-Channel (Bonding), etc.Maintain multi-site network operations and software applications, operating systems and regular maintenance with both private and public facilitiesMaintain a thorough understanding of the basics behind the Internet and its workings (Security, IP Routing, VPN, etc.)Evaluate the security of a network design and make improvement recommendationsQualificationsRequired

Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experienceAt least 2 years of experience in complex network environment supportAt least 1 year of experience designing, managing and/or assessing complex IT infrastructuresExpertise in infrastructure, including firewalls, load balancing and networksExcellent operational and delivery skillsAbility to "think big" and challenge conventional wisdomPreferred

Experience with systems equipment such as Palo Alto, Cisco, F5Current network certifications such as CompTIA A+ Certification, CompTIA Network+ Certification, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE): Core Infrastructure, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) - Routing and Switching or Cisco Certified Network Professional Level (CCNP) - Routing and Switching
