Position Summary Details
At XSOLIS, Sr. Technical Analysts play a role in planning, delivering and supporting internal users in their use of technology. They are accountable for the service experience of the internal users and the success or failure of their work. This role requires interaction with a range of internal stakeholders, most often managing several issues simultaneously. We believe that effective Technical Analysts need more than technical know-how. The role also requires several non-technical skills, and it is these softer skills that often determine whether a Sr. Technical Analyst will be a success at XSOLIS. Our Sr. Technical Analysts must at least have these non-technical skills: motivation, communication, organization, prioritization, problem-solving, and adaptability.
Highly effective Sr. Technical Analysts are business partners fully vested in XSOLIS’ success, and they must be able to roll with inevitable setbacks. Combined with the necessary technical skills, Technical Analysts must adapt to the constantly changing dynamics of internal user support while putting stakeholders needs first above all else.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Diagnose and resolve unique, nonrecurring problems associated with application software and operating systems; determine the source of problems and classify their level, priority and nature.
Configure, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot and support computer workstations, laptops, printers, mobile devices, phones and other computer and telecommunications equipment.
Install and support PC, laptop, tablet and mobile hardware and software.
Create alternative methods of completing tasks, correcting user errors and system inconsistencies to improve the desktop team function.
Advanced experience with ITIL Service Management software similar to Remedy, Cherwell or Atlassian Suite.
Perform advanced Account Administration in Active Directory and Okta while implementing best practice processes and procedures.
Provide audit deliverables for annual audits to include Security, Accounts, Okta, etc.; required to meet industry healthcare audit standards - HIPAA, SOC2 or HiTrust audit standards.
Manage and maintain O365 Office Suite of products for the Xsolis Workforce.
Responsible for supporting the established change management process for change impacting risk to our product availability.
Lead detailed design phases for small to medium projects identifying, tracking and resolving technical issues.
Responsible for maintaining all local hardware in Franklin to include Flexential, corporate site and all remote user hardware needs.
Participate in hardware and software reviews and recommend purchases.
Maintain inventory of installed software, manage software licensing and create policies and procedures for upgrades.
Work with hardware and software vendors to verify timely product delivery and ensure that new equipment is installed and ready to operate on schedule.
Analyze and make recommendations for hardware and software standardization.
Ensure desktop computers interconnect seamlessly with diverse systems including associated validation systems, file servers, email servers, computer conferencing systems, application servers and administrative systems.
Document procedures, standards, best practices configurations, settings, installation sequences and back-out instructions.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related professional experience
AWS Cloud Experience – 3-5 years
Advanced Active Directory experience
Knowledge of databases, system security, and troubleshooting
Up to date knowledge of hardware and software
Strong customer service ethos, proactive at anticipating and resolving problems.
Ability to work well with diverse set of people
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to organize both time and equipment/resources
Working Environment and Travel Requirements
Work is typically in a normal office administrative environment involving minimal exposure to physical risks.
Position requires little to moderate physical activity. Mostly sedentary work exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
