In this role, you will be trusted to bring together a multi-disciplinary team that is geographically dispersed to provide engineering planning, design, integration, installation, and test of Aegis Combat Systems (ACS) onboard ships post-construction and during maintenance availabilities. You will be responsible for managing the site-specific program to ensure that implementation and prescribed activities are carried out in accordance with specified objectives.This position can be based in either San Diego, CA, Pascagoula, MS, Norfolk, VA, and Bath, ME. This role is contingent upon contract award.What You Will Do
Plan and develop methods and procedures for implementing the site's program, direct and coordinate site activities, and exercise control over personnel responsible for specific functions or phases of the test program.Select test team personnel according to knowledge and experience in the area with which the program is concerned.Confer with Contractor or Government staff to explain program and individual responsibilities for functions and phases of the program.Direct and coordinate personally, or through subordinate managerial personnel, activities concerned with implementation and carrying out objectives of the program.Review reports and records of activities to ensure progress is being accomplished toward specified program objectives and modify or change methodology as required to redirect activities and attain objectives.What You Must Have
Strongly prefer a Bachelor of Arts or Science (BA/BS) in the relevant field and 10+ years of ship integration and test, operations management, or related experience (or 15+ years of experience without a degree).A US DoD Secret security clearance is required.Ability to work collaboratively as part of the larger Navy and Marine Corps Sector.U.S. Citizenship is required.8 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 6 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 12 years relevant progressive experience.Bonus Points For...
