In this role you will be trusted to bring together a multi-disciplinary team that is geographically dispersed to provide engineering planning, design, integration, installation, and test of Aegis Combat Systems (ACS) onboard ships post-construction and during maintenance availabilities. You will be responsible for ensuring the Aegis Command Decision (C&D) and Aegis Display System (ADS) are operational and available.This position can be based in either Norfolk, VA, Chesapeake, VA, San Diego, CA, Washington, DC, or Cherry Hill, NJ. This position is contingent upon contract award.What You Will Do
Report to the AWS Engineering Lead and ATO/ATM as directed.Exercise responsibility for the C&D/ADS equipment suites (including ACEG equipment), setup configurations, equipment interfaces, proper activation and operation of C&D/ADS computing environment, configuration, data extraction requirements and interfaces, identification & resolution of system interface issues, assist with test conduct, analyze test results, support of CAPS and LIMS brief, and report findings.Assess system installation and performance and report results in support of upcoming milestones; review related drawings and documents (including test procedures), report findings and recommendations.Provide support for crew preparations & training/trials, data collection, data analysis and fault isolation assistance as needed.Report results of testing, special events, troubleshooting, lessons learned as required.What You Must Have
Strongly prefer a Bachelor of Arts or Science (BA/BS) in the relevant field and 10+ years of experience in command-and-control engineering or related experience (or 15+ years of experience without a degree).A US DoD Secret security clearance is required.Ability to work collaboratively as part of the larger Navy and Marine Corps Sector.U.S. Citizenship is required.9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field.Bonus Points For...

Office, industrial or shipboard environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances during site surveys. Lifting and moving of materials not to exceed the guidelines set for one man lift.
