This role will be a member of the Summit Dispatch and Distribution Systems team to coordinate all tasks related to implementing and supporting the Dispatch and Distribution systems in accordance with defined Summit Standards. The candidate will actively participate and help lead the implementation of systems and data standards involved with material sales (Aggregate, Asphalt, Concrete and Cement) across the organization specializing in a primary system while providing backup support to the others. This position will be expected to understand the integration to ancillary systems such as signaling, quality control, and quoting tools. The candidate must be highly motivated, work well in a team-focused environment as well as individually driven to provide results.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESFacilitate or perform the following activities related to Dispatch and Distribution systems:

Gain and maintain an adequate understanding of department specific objectives, strategies, and processes to facilitate, document, and guide recommended system changes.Gain and maintain an adequate understanding of user requirements compared with system capabilities to help make recommendations on system, hardware, procedure, and configuration.

Provide on-site support to successfully implement/upgrade new or existing sites/office

Identify and work effectively with local resources.Actively participate while training local teams in their implementation life.Facilitate testing and assist with resource allocations for tasks and projects, meetings, status updates, and presentations when directed.Understand company/location unique business/pricing requirements to develop/adapt implementation while upholding minimum Summit required standards.Provide timely updates to Supervisor to allow for quick decision making.

Prepare and/or maintain Summit custom documentation. Documentation includes and not limited to:

Implementation checklists.System support documentation and training.Application Playbooks.Blueprint minimum standards for importing/system integration/reporting.Disaster recovery options.

Coordinate/provide periodic user training.Learn and retain necessary troubleshooting skills to support Helpdesk Ticket resolution.Review software release documentation to determine recommended upgrade/patching.Coordinate and facilitate Testing and Implementation of production patches/version updates.Level 3 Service Desk support includes documentation of resolution and providing timely updates and resolution to end users.Engage vendor support when necessary.Primary SystemsCommand Alkon - COMMANDseriesCommand Alkon - TrackItCommand Alkon - APEXStonemont QCScheduleComBCMIMS Dynamics CRMServiceNOWOthersQualifications – Skills and ExperienceRequiredAssociate’s degree or Technical Certificate or equivalent 3 to 5 years work experience.Strong aptitude for problem-solving and critical thinking.Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, strong listening skills and ability to communicate at all levels of an organization.Ability to train and present information in group and one-on-one settings.Proven organizational and time management skills, quickly adapt to priorities, demands, and changes.Remote working environment with ability to travel 25% - 50% of the time.Available to work off business hours and weekends as required.Proficiency in MS Office products.PreferredExperience with ERP systems support and/or implementation.Knowledge/experience within the construction materials industry.Experience with APEX, Command, TrackIt, BCMI, MS CRM Dynamics, and Cloud applications.Helpdesk ticketing/tracking experience (ServiceNOW).Build a lasting career with us.
