Job Summary: Project Engineer
We are looking for a
Project Engineer
who has experience in machine design or a heavy industrial equipment environment.Key Responsibilities:Conduct design calculations and analyses.Optimize designs for quality and manufacturability.Create and verify detailed manufacturing drawings.Manage project budgets and schedules, tracking tasks and scope.Present designs and machine functions to end users.Support sales proposals and collaborate with assembly and vendor teams.Author maintenance and troubleshooting manuals.Participate in all phases of the product development lifecycle and lead new product releases.Establish design standards and review new components.Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree (experience can compensate for education)Proficiency in Finite Element Analysis and 2D/3D modeling software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks).Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to interpret engineering drawings.Excellent communication and organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects.Essential Functions:Primarily office-based with some site visits; candidates should have the ability to walk, see, and hear (with or without corrective aid).Equipment Used:Computer, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office products.
