Accountable for providing specialized knowledge to support system implementation and the ongoing operations of all information systems for the Material Management Department, along with other departments. Maintains open communication and availability to all organizations. Responsible for providing researched answers on systems selection, installation, operation, and ongoing support of software applications. Provides project support as well as general “go-live” and “upgrade” support. Utilizes exceptional technical writing, communication, and presentation skills. Has a working knowledge of reportable regulatory requirements. This position assists in all bi-annual inventories and continuously seeks optimization opportunities for all inventories through analytics. Maintains inventory levels for disaster inventory and ensures appropriate cost allocations are completed. Maintains the purchasing catalog and the electronic data interchange (EDI) website (GHX, Metatrade).Education
Bachelor’s in health administration, computer science, business administration, or relative field - RequiredMaster in relative field - PreferredExperience

Set up and implement perpetual inventories and train staff in computer system inventory module.Help lower PAR levels and increase annual inventory turns within the perpetual inventory areas.Support all staff in perpetual inventories and train staff to use hand-held devices.Connects with appropriate department leadership to facilitate bi-annual inventories for various departments with a total approximate value equaling millions of dollars.Maintains inventory levels for system disaster inventory and ensures appropriate cost allocations are completed.Maintains the purchasing catalog and the electronic data interchange (EDI) website (GHX, Metatrade).Facilitates access to the SJ/C MM module and train new staff in how to use the Meditech purchasing process.Ensures training has been received for effective application support and end-user use.Manage bulk pricing uploads to MM purchasing module instituted by our national group purchasing organization (GPO) and our Southeast collaboration partner, Capstone.Successfully performs tasks on small and large-scale projects in one or more aspects of the information systems life cycle (product selection, Systems requirement definition, communication, implementation, issue resolution, production support).Ensures client requests are properly evaluated and responded to in a timely manner.The Systems Analyst is responsible for providing researched answers on systems selection, installation, operation, and ongoing support of software applications.Interfaces directly with Meditech analysts to gain knowledge and solve problems that arise.Ability to break down simple-intermediate problems into manageable tasks.Utilizes Meditech and its analysts as a point of contact in solving related issues.Facilitates all computer system upgrades and new module implementations.Develop and maintain electronic worksheet and requisitions and the departmental customer user guide "HOW TO" manual.
