Your Mission is Ours.Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a Summer 2025 Aircraft Field Support Engineer Intern. In this role, you will dive into the world of aircraft sustainment support at Eielson. You will be exposed to some of the sustainment systems and learn how to use these systems to troubleshoot aircraft issues to help return the aircraft back to service. You will be expected to monitor the health of the F-35 fleet at Eielson and engage in advising corrective actions when aircraft present anomalies. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of basic aircraft maintenance principles and practice. The ideal candidate will be someone seeking a degree or certification in aircraft or powerplant maintenance, or other aerospace related degree. This position is located in Alaska.Basic Qualifications:Pursuing bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in an Aerospace field of study or pursuing certification as Federal Aviation Administration Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic (FAA A&P).Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance; this position is located at a facility that requires special access.Desired Skills:Positive attitudeMotivated to learn new skillsAbility to perform detailed-oriented work with a high degree of accuracy and quick delivery.Security Clearance Statement:

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.
