Join us and we can make a difference together.We currently have an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated, self-directed, and results-oriented Technical Sales Support Project Engineer on our Data Center and Industrial team, focusing on business development and HVAC sales. You will be responsible for supporting our growth in commercial equipment, controls, and service sales in the Data Center and Industrial market in North America. This role may sit anywhere in the United States near a major airport.Key job responsibilities include:
Provide project management and engineering support for data center and industrial projectsProvide specialized commercial applied HVAC equipment selections and pricingPrepare technical documentation including submittal packages, close-out documents, and othersProvide technical support for the sales of commercial air conditioning systems to customers and their respective consulting engineersCoordinate across multiple functions and make decisions in a fast-paced environmentManage Salesforce opportunities for internal tracking and strategizing organizational needsCoordinate with Carrier Commercial Service organization to provide turn-key proposals for industrial and data center serviceRequired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree5+ years of estimating, sales engineering, or project engineering experience in the mechanical fieldAbility to travel 25-50%. Primarily domestic travel but international may be requestedPreferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar3-7 years of HVAC experience or knowledge of HVAC designs – Commercial Applied Equipment experienceData center design experience and central utility plant design experienceSense of urgency, self-initiative, dedication, and sense of ownershipStrong written and verbal interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with external customers and a multi-functional teamOutstanding follow-up and follow-through skillsHighly organized with strong attention to detail, able to prioritize multiple tasksUnwavering customer service orientationProficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)RSRCAR#LI-RemoteCarrier is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
